2. AI Proctoring & Media Data
To ensure academic integrity during remote placement tests, Klarity Tutoring utilizes AI Proctoring tools (via MediaPipe). If you grant camera and microphone access, our system locally processes frames to detect suspicious activity (e.g., absence of face, multiple faces, loud background noise). Only lightweight screenshots corresponding to specific violation flags are captured and transmitted to our secure servers as proof of integrity. Continuous video feeds are never recorded or stored.
3. COPPA Compliance (Children's Online Privacy)
We are committed to protecting children's privacy online. Following the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All bookings, registrations, and communications for students under 13 must be conducted by a parent, guardian, or educational instructor.
4. FERPA Compliance
In alignment with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Klarity Tutoring maintains the strict confidentiality of all student evaluation records, diagnostic scores, and AI proficiency reports. These records are only accessible to authorized Klarity administrators, the assigned tutor(s), and the parent/student linked to the account.

We use your data strictly to organize tutoring schedules, provide personalized academic insights, and enhance our services. Your data is not sold to third-party marketers or advertisers.
